Axel Meierhoefer, in partnership with Dr. Charles Savage, created an effective blended learning solution that allows
• Alignment of executive groups around complex issues
• Experiential visual collaboration as a learning technique
• Group consensus building approach that can encourages executives to tackle interdependent aspects of a problem for the purpose of finding solutions.
Use of innovation mapping in business training ensures that subject matters are easier for students to understand and also incorporates the element of fun.
Developed in 2009, Innovation Mapping bears similar concepts to experiential visual learning, but goes several steps beyond. It makes for an awareness building amongst groups of people that allow them to sync with each other and the domains they are seeking to master.
Initially, innovation mapping was designed for students in academic situations. Now this method is delivered effectively to a myriad of learners from high school students to PhD scholars to corporate employees attending training.
Using this workshop methodology, businesses are able to find the root causal relationships between their problems and the actions of their organization, gaining rich insight on how to formulate solutions in a holistic manner.
Solutions for educators, facilitators, and learning organizations
Innovision Global was founded 2009, a collaborative idea of a large group of individuals seeking the benefits of social media marketing aimed at supporting Earth Day. IG started with six people, and has evolved into two partners, Harry Shade and Axel Meierhoefer, who now run the organization.
Innovision Global focuses on helping educators who are seeking to learn the best strategies in coaching, facilitation, and teaching. IG gives them the newest and most effective learning strategies in order to improve their own strategies and methodologies. IG also caters to the needs of businesses when it comes to developing powerful hybrid learning methods that make their business operations smoother and more profitable.
IG delivers expert consultation and coaching services to teachers, business entities, new coaches, and even social media marketing experts. Today, IG is achieving the success Harry and Axel envisioned and continues to build with additional services coming soon!
Training Program Development to Implement a
Marketing Review Process
This large scale corporate initiative project was managed by AMC as a subcontractor to another vendor. A collaborative team developed a training program to successively facilitate training events in groups for more than 22 events. The project involved six facilitators who traveled the world delivering the program, designed and overseen by Axel Meierhoefer and architected by AMC and lead-vendor personnel.
AMC, in partnership with the lead vendor contracted with one of the largest international pharmaceutical companies to design and develop a custom training program for its marketing campaigns. The pharmaceutical company had recognized that the old process was extremely inefficient and costly. A new approach was needed. After developing a new process, AMC and the lead vendor created and delivered the experiential training for approximately 900 client employees.
The experiential training was delivered in facilitated, small group learning events lasting between 3 hours and a full day. It allowed all affected employees, including attorneys, physicians, editors, regulatory experts, and other internal marketing managers to become familiar with the new approach and provided tools to be able to apply the process in daily work immediately following the training. This opportunity was also used to teach the learners new methods of collaboration in the workplace
The new approach is being performed at the pharmaceutical company both for all affected US operations as well as across more than 100 countries around the globe.
Creating a Corporate University solution for a
In December 2010, as a subcontractor to the lead vendor, AMC was asked to support a pharmaceutical company to create a plan for an internal learning organization designed to attract, retain and upgrade the knowledge of existing and potential employees in the highly competitive emerging markets.
The employment situation in the emerging markets is challenging for pharmaceutical companies and other multinationals attempting to establish new workcenters because potential employees choose companies based on overall growth and the ratio of trained, qualified managers and leaders as well as a company's perceived loyalty to its employees.
To increase attractiveness toward potential employees and retain the individuals with the highest potential the pharmaceutical client sought to establish a form of Corporate University in the emerging markets.
Axel Meierhoefer not only served as project manager for the corporate university project but also as a consultant for the scientific research portion of the project.
Axel's leadership combined the expertise of top international development consultants who reviewed hundreds of documents in order to develop a benchmarking foundation significantly larger than 1,000 pages including literature, books, expert interviews and internal reviews.
The project and the resulting plan allows the pharmaceutical company to create a detailed implementation plan and decide which content areas should be prioritized in the process of developing the corporate university and possible other learning ventures for its employees.
